Nepal Covid-19 tally: 4,774 PCR and 123 antigen new cases added in 24 hours

Kathmandu, April 28

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 312,699 as of Wednesday afternoon.

The ministry says 4,774 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 13,879 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 445,968 people have been tested in the country.

Likewise, in this period, 955 people underwent antigen tests for the virus, of which an additional 123 were found infected.

As of today, 30,209 cases are active.

In the past 24 hours, 773 people have achieved recovery whereas 17 deaths have been reported.

Of the total cases so far, 279,279 people have achieved recovery. Likewise, 3,211 died, according to the ministry.

Nearly 60 are quarantined across the country.
