Kathmandu, November 27
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 229,343 as of Friday afternoon.
The ministry says 1,703 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 10,460 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million and 710,460 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 17,237 cases are active.
Of the total cases so far, 209,435 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,435 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 1,236 people have been discharged whereas 23 deaths have been reported.
Over 6o0 people are quarantined across the country.
