Nepal Covid-19 tally: 1,694 PCR and 713 antigen cases in 24 hours, death toll up by 46

Kathmandu, June 13

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 628,942 as of Sunday afternoon.

The ministry says 1,694 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours. In this period, 7,517 swab samples were tested.

Likewise, 4,889 people underwent antigen tests for the virus, of which an additional 713 tested positive.

As of today, there are 68,955 active cases across the country. Of them, 5,211 are hospitalised, 1,100 in intensive care units and 347 on ventilators.

In the past 24 hours, 3,994 people have achieved recovery whereas 46 deaths have been reported.

Of the total cases so far, 531,105 people have achieved recovery. Likewise, 8,412 died, according to the ministry.
