Nepal Covid-19 tally: 125 new cases, 91 recoveries, no death in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 17

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 273,070 as of Wednesday afternoon.

The ministry says 125 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours. 60 of these were from the Kathmandu valley.

In this period, 3,838 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 127,789 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,621 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 269,394 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,055 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 91 people have recovered whereas no death was reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
