Nepal Covid-19 tally: 1,024 new cases, 2,206 recoveries, 10 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, December 5

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 239,885 as of Saturday afternoon.

The ministry says 1,024 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 6,074 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million and 778,024 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 14,255 cases are active currently.

Of the total cases so far, 224,053 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,577 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 2,206 people have been discharged whereas 10 deaths have been reported.

Over 500 people are quarantined across the country.
