Kathmandu, February 13
Former Prime Minister and NCP leader Jhalanath Khanal has reiterated Nepal’s commitment towards One China policy.
Khanal, who met Chinese ambassador Hou Yanqui at his residence in Dallu, said that Nepal has entered into a new era of economic development and social transformation. He said he was hopeful that Nepal would get assistance at a wider scale from China to help Nepal attain development and prosperity.
“Nepal is committed to One China policy,” the leader said, pledging that any activity threatening this principle would not be allowed on Nepali territory, according to Khanal’s private secretary Krishna Bhattarai.
