Kathmandu, February 18
Chairperson of the Nepal Communist Party, Rishi Kattel, has been arrested. A team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office arrested Kattel from Kirtipur on charges of engaging in activities aimed at disrupting the election.
SP Rameshwar Karki of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office informed that four members of the party have been arrested so far. Earlier on Tuesday, Dharmendra Bastola, Bishnu Prasad Timalsina and SP Shah of the same party were also arrested.
