Nawalparasi bike hit kills police inspector

Kathmandu, August 10

A police inspector died when a motorbike hit him in Bardaghat of the Nawalparasi district in the Lumbini province on Monday night.

The victim has been identified as Kapil Wagle (43), a permanent resident of Myagde rural municipality-4 of the Tanahun district, currently stationed at the Bardaghat Area Police Office as its head.

Wagle was walking on the roadside along the East-West Highway when the two-wheeler (Lu 14 Pa 8758) hit him at around 8:15 pm yesterday.

Seriously injured, he was rushed to the Universal College of Medical Sciences for further treatment whereas he breathed his last at around 11, informs DSP Raju Lama of the District Police Office.
