The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) has made preparations to publish individual local-level reports of the national population census for each of the local governments for the first time.
Up to the 2011 census, the government would publish district-level reports. The director of the bureau, Dhundiraj Lamichhane, tells RSS that the local-level statistics report are going to be published for the first time from the 2021 population census since the state adopted the state restructuring system.
Lamicchane shares the reports would be made public by the beginning of the coming fiscal year (by mid-July 2021).
Meanwhile, officials in all the 77 districts have already sent details of the counting of the population in their district to the centre.
The bureau has made preparations to enter the details into a computer system till mid-January, 2022. Activities would be forwarded to conclude the task of entering the details within six months.
