Dhangadhi, June 20
A woman was been found dead in a community forest in Jamarani, Parashuram municipality-8 of the Dadeldhura district in Sudurpaschim on Saturday. Police have suspected she might have been murdered.
The deceased has been identified as Asmita Dhami, 26, a health worker at the local health post. She was missing since Wednesday, June 16, while she was on her way to transport some medical tools to the Jogbudha Hospital.
Although there was not any injury on her body, police have suspected she was killed as she was incommunicado for three days.
Owing to the mysterious circumstances in which she was found dead, the Federal Police Unit Office and the Provincial Police Office has mobilised separate teams to look into the case. Both the teams have arrived at the incident site on Sunday.
Meanwhile, DSP Mahendra Nepal, the District Police Office says, the body has been taken to the Jogbudha Hospital for postmortem.
