Biratnagar, July 7
Two persons have been found dead in mysterious circumstances in different locations in the Morang district in eastern Nepal.
An unidentified man appearing to be in his 50s was found dead at a bus park in ward 11 of the Biratnagar metropolitan city on Thursday morning, according to police. Locals say they saw him alive around the place last night.
There was a poison container near his body.
In another similar case, a yet-to-be-identified man appearing to be in his early 40s was found dead in the Singhiya river, at Hattibanda, Jahada rural municipality-3, in the district this morning.
Locals had spotted the body washed away by the river and informed police of the case. Police say the body has already decayed.
DSP Deepak Shrestha of the Morang District Police Office says further investigations into the cases are underway.
