The Gandaki Provincial Government has undergone a cabinet reshuffle, and the newly appointed ministers have already taken their oaths of office. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Surendra Pandey, several individuals were sworn in to lead their respective ministries.
Govinda Bahadur Nepali has been appointed as the Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development and Transport Management, while Nanda Prasad Neupane took charge as the Minister for Energy, Water Resources, and Drinking Water.
The cabinet expansion continued with Jit Bahadur Sherchan being appointed as the Minister for Economic Affairs and Bhim Bahadur Karki taking over the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management, and Cooperatives.
Additionally, Yashoda Rimal was sworn in as the Minister for Industry and Tourism, Laxman Bahadur Pandey as the Minister for Health, and Namdu Gurung as the Minister for Forest and Environment.
This reorganisation of the provincial cabinet was carried out based on a power-sharing agreement between the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML.
