Kathmandu, December 11
The Meteorological Forecasting Division says many mountainous districts of the country are likely to receive heavy snowfall in the next three days. Likewise, the hilly districts will witness mild rainfall.
The division has urged locals of the respective regions to stay prepared and alert against any adverse impact that the change is likely to cause.
In its forecast bulletin issued on Wednesday morning, the division informs that mountainous districts of eastern, central and western parts of the country will be affected by the likely weather change. However, the western part will suffer more.
The division says the westerly low-pressure system will develop in Nepal from tonight.
