Harry the aspiring craftsman shows up at Patan Durbar Square

Prince-Harry-at-patan

Kathmandu, March 20

At Patan Durbar Square on Sunday, like on any other day, Nepali craftsmen were busy carving out idols from pieces of wood and stones.

While they were busy with their work, a foreigner came by, looked at what they were doing, joined them and started carving something. After sometime, he showed them their work. The artisans said it was good and the foreigner laughed, to his heart’s content.

Guessed who he was? He was Prince Harry, the fifth in line to the British throne, having fun after a visit to the historic square, where he observed and inquired about the losses that last year’s mega quakes had caused.
