Landslides resulting from rains continuing since Tuesday night have shut the Mugling-Narayangadh road. The landslides that erupted at around 1 am also caused damage to four houses along the road.

Among the houses damaged include one located at Chandibhanjyang-9. Kisan Gurung, who was at the house when landslides erupted, managed to escape the scene in the nick of time and save his life.

Two loaders and one excavator have been trying since 6 am to remove landslide debris.
