Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Krishna Bahadur Mahara will leave for India for an official three-day visit on Sunday, says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the visit, Mahara will lay the groundwork for Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s upcoming visit to New Delhi.
It is expected that Deuba will pay a visit to the southern neighbour after around two weeks. It will be his first foreign trip after assuming office around a month ago.
Mahara will reach New Delhi at the invitation of his Indian counterpart, Sushma Swaraj.
