Kathmandu, June 7
The body of Amber Gurung, lyricist, singer and composer known for a number of all-time hits, will be kept at National Academy from 11 am till 3 pm on Tuesday to enable people to pay their last respects. The last rites of the maestro will be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat. This was informed at a press conference organised at Grande Hospital on Tuesday.
Gurung, suffering from a number of health conditions like pneumonia, UGI bleeding, hypertension and diabetes, died in course of treatment at Grande at 2.37 am on Tuesday. He was 79.
