Lvneng LS01 is a three-wheeled electric scooter from the Chinese electric vehicle company, Lvneng, that is available in the Nepali market.
Evmotors Nepal is the only official distributor of Lvneng electric scooters in Nepal. Along with LS01, Evmotors also has four other electric two-wheelers here in Nepal.
The company’s latest model is a unique-looking electric scooter. Previously, Doohan EVs had a three-wheeled electric scooter that had two wheels on the front and a single on the rear, but LS01 has two wheels on the back and one on the front. This is a three-wheeler EV that can be very handy to differently-abled people or the elderly who want to opt for electric vehicles.

Design
The Lvneng LS01 comes with a lighter, safer and more convenient design. The front of the scooter has a familiar Lvneng styling. Although the styling may seem familiar, it is bulkier than the rest of the segment in Lvneng electric scooters. There is a square-shaped LED headlight on the front and above the headlight is an elegant Lvneng branding.
The scooter has a comfortable footrest for the rider and the 755mm seat height makes the ride comfortable as well. At the rear end of the scooter lie two wheels for the convenience of the riders. This makes sure that the scooter stays on the rest by itself without the assistance of the rider or the stand. The road presence, however, is felt heavily as it looks unique and bigger than the rest of the scooters found here. It also has an LCD instrumental cluster.
Performance and safety
The Lvneng LS01 is more like a street-designed electric scooter, at least that is what the power figures of the scooter suggest so. It is powered by a 1200W Bosch motor that has a light 48V24Ah portable lithium battery. The battery can provide a mileage of up to 50 km and can reach a top speed of 25 kmph. The charging time can take between four to six hours. There are three gears, but the gears do not change the speed instead change the torque of the scooter while the top speed remains the same.
For safety purposes, the scooter has a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. This combination should be enough for the braking purpose of the scooter as the speed is only limited to 25kmph. The scooter has 3.00-10″ tubeless tyres.
Other features
There are plenty of handful features on Lvneng LS01 like it has a reversing switch to reverse the scooter, which is handy in different situations. Other notable features on the scooters are:

Verdict
Lvneng LS01 is probably the first electric scooter that has been brought focusing on differently-abled and elderly people. This is a great initiation from the company and is really praiseworthy where even the big companies are missing this.
There was always the option of adding external assist wheels on the scooters that are available on the market but adjusting the power figures was not possible. LS01 offers a lot in this context and as the company claims, this scooter is lighter, safer and more convenient.
