Karnali reports first Covid-19 case; Nepal tally hits 375

Kathmandu, May 19

As of 10:15 pm on Monday, May 18, Nepal’s Covid-19 tally has reached 375, the Ministry of Health and Population informs.

The ministry’s joint spokesperson Sameer Kumar Adhikari says in his update that additional 18 persons tested positive for the virus after the recent update on Monday afternoon when the tally stood at 357.

According to him, 12 persons in Banke, two in Dhanusha, and one each in Jhapa, Sunsari, Khotang and Dailesh districts tested positive in the evening.

Whereas Karnali was the only province free of the infection till now, with one case in Dailekh, the coronavirus outbreak has reached all provinces of the country.
