Dhangadhi, October 5
A pedestrian died after being hit by a passenger bus in Rajpur, Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city-13 of the Kailali district in Sudurpaschim, on Monday evening.
The victim has been identified as Ganesh Barma Sunar (45), a permanent resident of Khandeshwari of Darchula in the province, informs the Provincial Traffic Police Office in Attaria.
Seriously injured in the accident, Sunar breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi, according to police.
The investigators have arrested the bus driver, Aashish Chaudhary (32), a resident of Bhajani municipality-1 of the Kailali district, for further probe.
