Kathmandu, August 12
An inmate has died in Parsa district. The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Rahul Sah, who was serving a 25-year sentence after being convicted of murder.
According to SP Gautam Mishra, chief of the Parsa District Police Office, Sah suddenly collapsed on Tuesday morning while exercising. “He began vomiting and then lost consciousness. He was taken to a hospital for treatment, but died there,” Mishra told Onlinekhabar.
Police said he died at Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital. Discussions are underway with the victim’s family, who have raised various allegations regarding his death.
