Dhangadhi, June 28
Two girls drowned while swimming in a pond in the Kailali district on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as seven-year-old Ashriya Bista and six-year-old Bhawana Kunwar from Lamkichuha municipality of the Kailali district.
Locals tried to save them, but both died when rescued from the water.
Every year hundreds of Nepalis drown owing to different factors.
