Four dead in Dharan bus accident

Kathmandu, April 8

Four people have died, and 35 have been injured in a bus accident in Dharan, Sunsari.

The passenger bus (Ko 2 Kha 2793) met with the accident at Zero Point after its brake stopped working. The bus was going to Dharan from Chaubise Rural Municipality in Dhankuta.

The driver of the bus Chakra Bahadur Gurung was declared dead on the spot along with passenger Bal Bahadur Magar. Police, however, haven’t been able to identify two others, but say that the two dead are mother and daughter.

The injured have been taken to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences for treatment.
