Four students were arrested on Monday for showing black flags to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in Pokhara.

The members of the party’s student Union had gathered outside the entrance of Pokhara Sabha Griha, chanting slogans that Oli’s Nepal Communist Party was corrupt.

The protestors cited the recent audiotape controversy involving the NCP leader Gokul Baskota, handover of the public land to Yeti Holdings. Oli had gone to NCP Gandaki provincial workshop.

They were chanting against the recent Gokul Baskota audio clip-controversy, hand over of public land to Yeti Holdings, among others.

PM Oli had reached Pokhara to address the  Provincial Workshop. The workshop is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday. About 1,600 people are participating in the workshop.
