Kathmandu, October 21
At least 101 people have lost their lives due to landslides, floods and inundation following heavy rainfall in the past few days in different places of the country.
Similarly, 41 persons have gone missing and 40 have been injured in the incidents of natural disasters in various districts.
According to the Home Ministry, Province 1 has the highest number of death cases at 60 followed by Sudurpaschim that has 31 fatalities.
Landslides have resulted in human causalities in both districts.
A total of 2,232 houses have been affected by floods which has displaced around 1,177 families.
The chief of the Disaster Management Division of the Home Ministry, Humkala Pandey, shares search for the missing and rescue for those trapped in natural disaster incidents is underway.
