Kathmandu, August 30
The number of confirmed deaths from the floods originating in Rasuwa has reached 788, according to Nepal Police.
As of 3 pm on Sunday, police said 788 bodies had been recovered from flood-affected areas.
The highest number of bodies has been recovered in Chitwan, where 264 bodies have been found.
Similarly, 194 bodies have been recovered in East Nawalparasi, 120 in West Nawalparasi, 58 in Gorkha, 52 in Nuwakot, 37 in Tanahun and 13 in Rasuwa, according to police.
The latest figures cover bodies recovered across seven districts affected by the floods.
