Kathmandu, January 25
Chief of Province 3, Anuradha Koirala, has called the first meeting of the first session of provincial assembly for coming Thursday, February 1.
The meeting will convene at 1 pm on Thursday at the provincial assembly hall, in the provincial capital, Hetaunda.
A statement from the Office of Province Chief says the session has been called as per Article 183 (1) of the constitution.
The constitution says the first session of provincial assembly should begin within 20 days from the date of announcement of provincial assembly results.
The Election Commission had announced the polls results on January 17. Accordingly, all seven provincial assemblies should convene their first session by February 6.
