Nepali Congress leader and former Energy Minister Dipak Khadka has been arrested. A source claims that he was arrested in the course of an investigation into a money laundering case.
He has been implicated in a dispute over the Scout land in Lainchaur. During the Gen Z protests, a video went viral claiming that money was blown away when his residence was set on fire. He is currently under investigation regarding that incident.
A source at the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has confirmed the arrest of former minister Khadka.
