Dhading, December 12
One person was killed and two others were injured when a motorcycle and a scooter collided near Bihani Pump of Gajuri rural municipality-2 of the Dhading district on the Prithvi Highway this morning.
The accident took place when a motorcycle (Ba 44 Pa 9836) and a scooter (Ba 63 Pa 4834) collided head-on. Immediately, the motorcycle was hit by another truck (Na 6 Kha 749), says DSP Jageshwar Bhandari of the District Police Office.
The deceased has been identified as Suk Bahadur Chepang (33) of Benighat Rorang rural municipality-10 of the district.
The injured have been identified as Surendra Waiba (25) of Siddhalek rural municipality -1 and Sonam Ghale (28) of Gajuri.
Traffic movement was blocked for an hour after the accident on the highway. However, it has been restored after the removal of vehicles involved in the accident.
