Dhading, November 22
A cadre of Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ has been arrested by the Nepal Police along with a detonator here this morning.
According to the Dhading District Police Office, Krishna Khatiwada, 37, of Thakre Rural Municipality-7 was taken under control by the police from Dharke where the leftist alliance was holding a mass meeting today. He was about to plant a socket bomb at the venue of the assembly.
Police say special security arrangements are in place in the district in view of the scheduled election campaign and the upcoming elections.
Prior to this, five cadres of the outfit were arrested in the district.
