Two persons died in a motorcycle-bicycle collision in the Dang district of Lumbini on Thursday night.
DSP Mukunda Prasad Rijal of the District Police Office says the motorbike (Ra 3 Pa 2922) heading towards Ghorahi from Saudiya, killing two persons.
The victims have been identified as Ganga Bahadur Kawar (35), a resident of Ghorahi sub-metropolitan city-35, and Ritesh KC (16) of the same place.
Kawar was the motorcyclist whereas KC was the bicyclist.
Seriously injured in the accident, both died during treatment.
Meanwhile, two others sustained injuries. They are the motorbike’s pillion rider Basanta Chaudhary (38) and another cyclist Binod Bhandari (15), residents of Ghorahi-7.
They are undergoing treatment at the Rapti Academy of Health Sciences.
