Kathmandu, November 20

CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is grieving for his son Prakash who passed away yesterday, says he will attend a mass meeting to be organised in Chitwan district tomorrow as a part of the leftist alliance’s electioneering.

Dahal, however, says he will not address the meeting owing to mourning. The party’s senior leader Ram Bahadur Thapa will address the meeting on behalf of the party.

Likewise, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli will address the joint meeting.

Earlier, the meeting was postponed indefinitely owing to the death of Prakash. However, the decision was withdrawn as Dahal directed district leaders not to halt the election campaign.

Dahal is contesting for the House of Representatives elections from Chitwan-3 as the joint candidate of UML and Maoist Centre.
