Chitwan, December 11

CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal says the leftist alliance consisting of CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist Centre will take preparations to unify the parties and form the new government simultaneously.

The leader says he wants to unify the parties before the government formation, but it might not be possible due to time constraints.

Expressing his gratitude to his voters after being elected the lawmaker from Chitwan-3, the former prime minister said votes the parties received from people were reflective of their aspirations for stability and the parties hence would not disappoint them.

Dahal said the parties would not indulge in power games, adding, “Our major concern is not power sharing, but prosperity and stability.”

Dahal also thanked Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba for successfully conducting the polls despite knowing that his party was going to lose.
