Curfew imposed in Itahari

Biratnagar, September 8

The Sunsari District Administration Office has imposed a curfew in Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City.

According to the notice issued by the administration, the curfew came into effect from 3:30 pm on Monday and will remain in place until further notice.

The curfew area covers the stretch from the Nepal Army barracks in Hallgada to Paruhang Chowk, from Milan Chowk to Jute Development in the east, from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority office, Transport Office, Sathi Petrol Pump, Pushpalal Chowk to the bus park area in the south, and from Kalanki Mode to Janata Basti in the west.

The curfew order prohibits all gatherings, rallies, demonstrations, assemblies, meetings, and sit-ins during the restriction period.
