Nepalgunj, August 24
A coronavirus-infected person has run away from an isolation centre in Khajura of Banke on Monday.
The District Police Office had sent him to the isolation centre of Agricultural Training Centre in Khajura four days ago after he contracted Covid-19. He was recently arrested on the charge of drug smuggling.
The DPO chief SP Om Bahadur Rana says, “A police team has been mobilised for his search.”
Meanwhile, the DPO has also launched an investigation against the police personnel guarding the isolation centre.
