Nepali Congress lawmaker Amresh Kumar Singh has demanded that Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli tender his resignation.
Singh, who was speaking in Parliament on Wednesday, accused the Prime Minister of breaching the provisons of the constitution.
“The constitution guarantees citizens’ right to free movement. But the government stopped former Maoist combatant Lenin Bista from flying to Thailand,” said Singh. “So now everyone has to seek permission from the government to abroad? The Prime Minister has breached the constitution, I demand his resignation,” Singh said.
