Chitwan, December 3
A tipper has hit a motorbike in Jugedi, Bharatpur metropolitan city-29 of the Chitwan district on Friday, killing the bike’s pillion rider on the spot.
The victim has been identified as Chandra Kumari Sarki, who appears to be in his mid-50s, a resident of Rainas in the Lamjung district.
The tipper (Province 2-03-001 Pa 4249) heading towards Narayangadh from Muglin had hit the bike (Na 6 Kha 6727) from the rear side this afternoon.
The bike rider, Bikas Nepali, has sustained minor injuries. He has been taken to the Bharatpur Hospital for further treatment.
Police have arrested the tipper driver and confiscated the truck for further investigation.
