Morang, March 1
Two people persons died in a tipper accident when it hit an SUV on its way to Phidim in Panchthar this morning.
The accident happened at Belbari-3 in Morang district along the East-West Highway, Police Inspector Tej Bahadur Dahal confirmed.
Dahal said the tipper (Pra 1 Kha 9676) hit a bus and the SUV (Me 1 Ja 2856), killing Yadu Kanta Bhattarai, 52, and Gita Khanal, 44, of Kamal Rural Municipality, Jhapa on the spot.
Five others are critically injured in the mishap and receiving treatment at Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar.
