China’s newly appointed Ambassador, Yu Hong, arrives in Kathmandu to take charge

Kathmandu, November 7

China’s newly-appointed
Ambassador to Nepal, Yu Hong, arrived in Kathmandu on Monday to take charge.

Yu, who replaces Wu Xuntai, is a senior diplomat.

Officials of the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu welcomed Ambassador Yu at Tribhuvan International Airport.

Before the Nepal assignemtn, the 51-year-old had worked as consul general at Surabaya in Indonesia.
