Kathmandu, November 4
Indian President Pranab Mukherjee’s Janakpur and Pokhara visits will affect domestic and international flights.
Along the Pokhara sector, most of the flights will be cancelled, save one or two flights scheduled for Friday morning.
Different airlines operate around 40 flights along Kathmandu-Pokhara sector daily. Mukherjee’s Pokhara visit will also affect some flights along the Pokhara-Jomsom sector.
Mukherjee left for Janakpur at 10.20 am on Friday. At 12.30 pm, he will leave for Pokhara. From Pokhara, he will arrive in Kathmandu at 3.45 pm and leave for Delhi at 5.15 pm. This will affect domestic flights throughout the day and international flights in the evening.
