Kathmandu, September 22
The Ministry of Information and Communications has formed a three-member committee under the coordination of the secretary to select the chair of the Film Development Board.
The committee has been formed with Ministry Secretary Rajendra Kumar Poudel as coordinator, and Board acting chairman Rabi Lal Sharma and film professional Ashok Sharma as members.
Ministry Information Officer Rabindra Prasad Paudel said the selection committee was formed by a ministerial-level decision. The ministry has already opened applications for the chairman’s post. Tomorrow, Wednesday, is the last date to submit applications.
The committee will prepare a shortlist from the applications received.
