Kathmandu, June 2
The Public Service Commission has made it mandatory each of its candidates who are attending job interviews at the commission has to submit a certificate that they have not contracted Covid-19 as they show up for the interview.
Though the constitutional body has halted starting a new process to recruit government staff, it has recently decided to conduct interviews of the candidates who have already passed the written tests before the outbreak worsened in the country. Accordingly, it has published an interview schedule for joint secretary candidates that begins June 16.
The candidates facing those interviews have to submit PCR test reports for coronavirus if they are coming to Kathmandu from outside the valley or had gone outside the valley recently, the commission informs in a statement today.
The commission says it will help the candidates undergo the test if they have any difficulty.
