Kathmandu, November 3
The government has recommended two ordinances for issuance by President Ram Chandra Paudel.
Government spokesperson Sasmit Pokhrel said the Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday afternoon decided to recommend the two ordinances to the President.
According to Pokhrel, the proposed ordinances include one to amend the Press Council Nepal Act, 1992, and another to amend certain Nepal Acts, including those related to culture, tourism and civil aviation.
The recommendations have been forwarded to the President for issuance.
