Police in Butwal of Lumbini have arrested a pastor who claimed he revived a dead person.
Police had launched an investigation after a video of his claim went viral on social media. Chief District Officer Bharat Mani Pandey had ordered the probe.
Rajendra Gotame (35), a resident of Kanchanpur but working as the pastor of the Holy Calvary Church in the city has been arrested.
DSP Thag Bahadur KC of the Area Police Office says he has been handed over to the Rupandehi District Police Office for further investigation and action.
