Birgunj, September 23
A five-year-old child died in a tractor hit in Birgunj of the Parsa district in southern Nepal on Friday.
The victim has been identified as Sushil Paswan, the son of Sanjaya Paswan, a resident of Tajpur, Birgunj-11.
The child was on board the tractor (Na 3 Kha 1436) when he fell off the vehicle ultimately being crushed by one of its wheels, according to police.
Seriously injured in the tractor hit, he was rushed to the Narayani Hospital, but he died on the way, informs DSP Deepak Giri, the District Police Office spokesperson.
The tractor driver, Sunil Yadav (28), a resident of Birgunj-21, is on the run after the accident.
