Kathmandu, August 28
The only Forbes-listed billionaire in Nepal, Binod Chaudhary, has been tested positive for coronavirus on Friday.
The industrialist, also a House of Representatives member, confirmed infection in a tweet this afternoon.
“Dear friends and well-wishers,” he wrote, “I have tested positive for coronavirus as per a PCR test this morning! By the grace of god, so far, I have no symptoms.”
“However, I have isolated myself as per doctors’ advice,” Chaudhary wrote, requesting people who came into his contact to take possible precautions.
