Bhim Rawal to form new political party

Kathmandu, December 26

Former Vice Chairperson Bhim Rawal, recently expelled from the CPN-UML, is preparing to establish a new political party, according to sources close to him.

Rawal is expected to hold a press conference in the coming days to share his perspective on the decision made by CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli. Following this, he plans to launch a nationwide campaign, the sources revealed.

“The primary objective of the nationwide tour will be to form a new political party,” the source said. “There have been speculations about him joining Madhav Nepal’s party, but he is inclined to move forward by creating a separate political entity.”

Rawal was expelled by the CPN-UML Secretariat on Wednesday, citing his continued engagement in activities against party decisions since the party’s 10th General Convention.
