A truck has hit a man to death in Sallaghari, Bhaktapur, along the Araniko Highway on Monday night.
The victim has been identified as Ganesh Rajaura (45), a resident of Balkot, Suryabinayak municipality-3. He was riding his motorbike (Province 3-02-008 Pa 2501) when he was hit by a truck with the Indian registration number RJ-02-GB 1917, at around 8:45 pm yesterday.
Meanwhile, Amrit Silwal (28), a resident of Kaushaltar, Madhyapur Thimi municipality-3 of Bhaktapur, was riding pillion on the bike and he has sustained injuries.
Police have arrested the truck driver, Mahadev Sharma (50), from India for further investigation and action, informs the Metropolitan Police Circle in Jagati.
