Bara sexagenarian killed in clash during Holi celebration

A 65-year-old woman died in a clash that ensued while celebrating the Holi festival, in Bhatauda, Kalaiya sub-metropolitan city-23 of the Bara district in southern Nepal on Monday.

Six others sustained minor injuries.

The victim has been identified as Sanja Devi Sah, informs the District Police Office. Likewise, the injured as Girja Devi Sah, Ram Dev Sah, Rajesh Sah, Bindeshwar Sah, Ambika Sah, and Ram Prasad Sah.

The DPO Spokesperson DSP Gautam Mishra says four persons have been arrested for further investigation into the case.

“It has been said that she died during the clash, but there are not any external wounds. Hence, we are looking into it.”

Currently, the body has been kept at the Narayani Hospital in Birgunj for postmortem.
