Bagmati Provincial Police Office has joined hands to launch awareness programmes for the prevention of possible outbreak of novel coronavirus in the province.
The police are launching the campaign with an objective of lessening the unnecessary threats regarding the deadly coronavirus that has spread globally. The campaign is expected to reduce possible infection after making people alert on prevention measures, its symptoms and its treatment.
According to the officiating chief of the office, SSP Kishor Kumar Dahal, the police are launching the campaign across the province, realising the social responsibility as the whole world is panicked with its possible outbreak and worse effects in some countries.
The programmes would be launched in schools, colleges and public places after preparing awareness videos and other materials by engaging health specialists, health workers and health persons from the police organisation itself.
